HR Advisor

Are you a passionate HR professional looking to make a real impact in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering a professional, proactive and people-focused HR service.

Working closely with managers and the wider HR team, you'll provide expert advice across a broad range of HR activities including employee relations, absence management, recruitment, engagement, wellbeing and organisational development. You'll be a trusted partner to managers, helping to drive performance, support change and create a positive employee experience.

What you'll be doing

• Providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, conduct and capability cases.
• Supporting managers with absence management and employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities.
• Ensuring HR systems and employee records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
• Supporting engagement initiatives and promoting an inclusive, positive workplace culture.
• Working collaboratively with Learning & Development and other specialist teams to drive business and people objectives.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience advising managers and handling complex employee relations matters.
• CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
